ROTTING CHRIST: Title Track Of New Album Available For Streaming

“Kata Ton Demona Eaftou” (“Do What Thou Wilt”), the title track of the eleventh full-length studio album from Greek extreme metal veterans ROTTING CHRIST, can be streamed using the SoundCloud player at THIS LOCATION. The CD will be released on March 5 (four days earlier in Europe) via Season Of Mist. The band spent more than four months at Deva Soundz studios in Athens crafting what it says “may be its darkest and more mystical and occult outcome ever.” The CD was mixed by Jens Borgen (AMON AMARTH, PARADISE LOST, KATATONIA, OPETH) at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden.

The album will be made available as jewel case CD, double gatefold LP and limited-edition digibox, including a digipak CD with bonus track “Welcome To Hel”, a pendant in velvet bag and a flag.
In a recent interview with RockOverdose.gr, ROTTING CHRIST mainman Sakis Tolis stated about the band’s new CD, “The album was recorded entirely by me, except, of course, the drums which were taken care of by my brother.”
ROTTING CHRIST’s last album, “Aealo”, came out in March 2010. The CD sold around 400 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 144 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
PRIMAL FEAR Renews Partnership With FRONTIERS RECORDS

Frontiers Records and PRIMAL FEAR are pleased to announce to have renewed their partnership for another multi-album deal, which will include two more studio releases and one live CD and DVD. The band is already in advanced stages for the songwriting of the next studio album, to be recorded during the summer for an early 2014 release.

Released on January 24, 2012 in the U.S. via Frontiers Records, “Unbreakable” was tracked in part at House Of Music studios in Winterbach, Germany with producer/bassist Mat Sinner and engineer Achim Köhler (EDGUY, MASTERPLAN).

HYPOCRISY: New Album Cover Artwork, Track Listing Revealed

Swedish death metallers HYPOCRISY will release their new album, “End Of Disclosure”, in Europe on March 22 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD’s title track is now available for free download at this location.
“End Of Disclosure” was produced by HYPOCRISY mastermind Peter Tägtgren at his Abyss Studio in Sweden. The artwork was created by Wes Benscoter (SLAYER, KREATOR, NILE, VADER).
“This time, I wanted to go back to the basics,” says Peter. “[I] felt like we lost it for the last couple of albums. It’s straight to the point. It’s more HYPOCRISY than ever — the fast, the heavy, the epic. Enjoy!”

Texas Grind Crew PLF Announce Impending Release of ‘Devious Persecution and Wholesale Slaughter’ LP
Champions of all things short, fast, and loud Six Weeks Records are proud to announce that they’ll be releasing Devious Persecution and Wholesale Slaughter, the new LP from Houston, TX grindcore commandos PLF.
The album is due out on February 8th, 2013, and was recorded/mixed in spring/summer 2012 by Garry Brents at GAB Recordings and Mike BBQ at Big Door Studios, and mastered by Jack Control (World Burns to Death, Severed Head of State) at Enormous Door in Summer 2012. The album artwork comes courtesy of Daniel Shaw. The album features Bryan Fajardo (Phobia, Noisear, Kill the Client, Gridlink) on drums, and is poised to be the most vicious, neck-snappingly infectious grind record of 2013. You’ve been warned!
Devious Persecution and Wholesale Slaughter is the veteran grindfreaks’ third full-length and fourteenth overall release since their 1999 inception. Their discography stretches to include two LPs (Pulverizing Lethal Force in 2007 and Crushing Fury of Bastardization in 2008), a 7” ep (Swarming Industrial Cancer, 2003), two split LPs (with Germany’s Bizarre X in 2005, and California’s In Disgust in 2010), and nine (!) split 7” eps with a dizzying array of international bands, including Unholy Grave, Cyness, and Massgrave)
