In a recent interview with Target Audience MagazineMatrise stated about JUNGLE ROT’s new CD: “It’s a lot thrashier; we’ve been doing a lot of touring. We’ve toured a lot more than we ever did on the ‘Kill On Command’ record. We played some songs every night we could see which ones go over with the fans. I think just by touring it just gave us a little hint to do on the next one.”

Asked if there was any pressure to outdo “Kill On Command”Matrisesaid: “No, there was no pressure. It was a great record, but like all of them, we try to top every one of them. I think a lot of it had to do with our new drummer, Jesse. We’ve finally found a drummer that can play anything. This kid is unbelievable; whatever we throw at him, he can do it.”

The effort was mixed at Hertz Studio in Bialystok, Poland with producers Slawek and Wojtek Wieslawski (DECAPITATED,VADER).

“Solarflesh” track listing:

01. Watchful Eye Of Doom

03. Alchemy Of Blood
04. Timeless Kingdom
05. Festival Of Slaves
06. Sadness Will Last Forever

09. Mesmerized
10. Hatehammer (limited-edition bonus track)
11. Venom (limited-edition bonus track)
12. Fall Of All Icons (limited-edition bonus track)

Commented HATE guitarist/vocalist Adam “ATF Sinner” Buszko: “I believe ‘Solarflesh’ is the most insane and haunting record we’ve done thus far. It’s nothing but pure darkness… We’re extremely satisfied with this 61-minute monster (12 songs) that we’ve put to life. Now we’re working on a documentary about creation of ‘Solarflesh’, its ideological sides, the band’s history, touring etc. It’s going to be much more than just a studio report. We want it to be an in-depth interview revealing some unknown facts, hidden meanings etc. I’m sure people will find it interesting.”

Buszko previously stated about “Solarflesh”: “On this album we definitely explore new territories and push the boundaries of this beautiful and sick genre to its absolute limits! The material contains 12 collages. Most of them are insanely fast (270 bpm). Others are groovy, trance-like mantras that seem to haunt you forever. They all have rich background of samples and other elements that make them sound multidimensional. We also have several dark, ambient compositions that seem like complete avantgarde. I’ve been working on them with Michal Staczkun, the guy who did excellent job on our previous album, ‘Erebos’. We are also working on a few songs with Androniki Skoula, a singer from Greece, known for her involvement in the band CHAOSTAR, as well as collaboration withSEPTICFLESH and ROTTING CHRIST. She’s adding some ‘Hellenic’ flair to the songs that makes them even more elaborate.”

After the release of “The Grandiose Nowhere” in 2010 and the subsequent tour, which covered 16 countries around the globe, including destinations like South America, China and Spain, where the band experienced unforgettable memories and groundbreaking events, Germany’sLACRIMAS PROFUNDERE, led by Oliver Niklas, took a break to concentrate on the songwriting process for its new new album.

The group’s tenth studio CD will be released in May to coincide withLACRIMAS PROFUNDERE’s 20th anniversary. In addition, Napalm Records and LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE have renewed their co-operation with a new record deal.

Commented Thomas Caser, head Of A&R at Napalm: “We are very glad to announce the renewal of the contract with LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE. In these modern and short-lived times, we appreciate this longtime relationship and are very proud, that the band will go their successful path with Napalm Records in the future! A fantastic album is about to be released!”

Added Niklas: “We are happy that with Napalm Records — who are now the home for our idols MOONSPELLTIAMAT and MONSTER MAGNET, and for our most successful albums, ‘Ave End’ and ‘Filthy Notes For Frozen Hearts’ — we have found a partner and friend for our tenth album.

“The record will surprise with unusual parts and heavy riffs, but not without the typical LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE melodies and due to the collaboration with our idol Ricky Warwick and a guest appearance with our ex-singer Christopher, it will be our most varied and hardest album we made since 10 years. The record will be perfect for our anniversary and we cannot wait to share it with you. Goth ‘n’ roll!”

AOSOTH Streams New Song “Temple Of Knowledge” At CVLT Nation

French black metal outfit AOSOTH has premiered a second song from the new full-length album entitled ”IV:Arrow In Heart”, coming out April 16th worldwide on Agonia Records. The song “Temple Of Knowledge” is streaming exclusively at CVLT Nation:

The first revealed song, “An Arrow In Heart”, is available here: http://youtu.be/WFTvx9ZPpJc

The new album is a natural improvement over bands previews release, entitled “III, which already was “a major step forward for Aosoth in creating their own distinct sound” (Sputnik Music). Commented by the band itself, “IV:Arrow In Heart” holds yet a bigger spiritual meaning: “We’ve spent such a huge amount of time on defining a darker identity, yet open to a wider range of influences. Those tracks still haunt us, as delivering them was a painful and excruciating experience, and left some of us even physically wounded… Which gives that album even more of a spiritual value, as it involved a form of sacrifice.”  The band also added: ”This fourth full-length release is without a doubt a great step forward for us in term of music writing, and sound.”

“IV:Arrow In Heart”
can be pre-ordered at this link: https://www.agoniarecords.com/index.php?pos=shop&lang=en

The album will consist of 6 original tracks and 56 minutes of music.

2. One With The Prince With A Thousand Enemies
