MUWW Special: Interview with Deus Ex Machina

Deus Ex Machina is a name that we haven’t heard in awhile, and now they are making their comeback this 5 May at the inaugural Metal United World Wide, Singapore. We catch up with band mastermind Ryan to see what the band has been up to, and what to expect in their homecoming show, and their new material.

Monolithe – Nebula Septem

With a refreshed lineup, France’s Monolithe returns with their seventh release, Nebula Septem. The album’s theme revolves around the number seven, with 7 tracks that are 7 minutes each, and a lineup that boasts 7 members. Gimmicks aside, would the band impress? Fortunately so, as they unleash 49 minutes of pure, dark, doom metal.

Begerith – A.D.A.M.

Begerith may be born in Mother Russia, but with their relocation to Poland, it seems that the water has gotten to their musical style as well. Their sophomore, A.D.A.M. reeks of influences from such legends as Behemoth and Hate, and is sure to please fans of Polish black/death metal.

Indian death metal band Demonstealer has just released a snippet of their new song, The Perspective of Evil. The Perspective of Evil features Arran McSporran of De Profundis on bass, and Romain Goulon of Necrophagist on drums.
